The general director of the BelPak company Sergey Kapustin today at a meeting with the governor Yevgeny Savchenko announced the launch of a line for the production of trays for food products and plans to open the production of food packaging - today its large companies exclusively import.

ВDuring the meeting of the head of the region with residents of the Vostochny industrial park (the territory of the former vitamin plant), the general director of Belpak, Sergei Kapustin, said that the company had reached agreements with South Korean equipment suppliers who would create a line for the production of packaging stretch film, which is now on the Russian market in most cases imported from France, Poland and China.
Production will be launched by the end of 2015 on the basis of the Vostochny industrial park with a volume of at least 1,000 tons of film per year. Kapustin did not disclose the volume of investments, saying only that the new project will annually transfer about 5.4 million rubles in tax payments to the regional consolidated budget. The production of film in the company will complement the production of trays for food, already opening in November, in which, even within the Belgorod region, local players satisfy the market by only 40%. Governor Yevgeny Savchenko asked to present the products to the largest agricultural holding companies in the region, which are the main buyers of the trays.
“The PVC film market is almost completely dependent on imports,” Kapustin stated.
For the manufacture of substrates and trays for meat and dairy and sausage products, the material "EPS" is used - expanded polystyrene (EPS).
BelPak CJSC became the winner in the "start" nomination of the annual regional competition "ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR - 2014"
